Brewery First World War memorial tablet

Placed on the courtyard wall, on the right if you enter from the High Street, it's quite high up.

It reads :

"In  honoured memory of the four employees of the Wethered Brewery who were killed in action during the First World War.

Private Robert Crew

Private James Frith

Private Joseph Gilmore

Sergeant Henry Haddon

80 men and women served on the western front, in the Balkans and in the Middle East. Their names are recorded on the Wethered Brewery roll of honour"
