NOTE - William founded the Marlow builders W&T Sellman along with brothers Thomas who died the following year and Charles who also died 1937. After his wife died, Gertrude moved in with her father to support him. The couple had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. In his youth William was a tremendous athlete and also played as one of the original members of Marlow F.C. Louisa was nee Drye, of the coachbuilding and motor car garage family. The two families business premises were on the same side of Marlow High Street but the couple later lived at Glade Rd.
Pte Sydney Morton was age 25 when he was killed. He was previously a motor mechanic at Currall's garage, Marlow High Street. A keen rower and member of Marlow Rowing Club.
