Will Christopher Pepper of Great Marlow

Christopher Pepper, silversmith. Will written and proved 1807.

A very simple will:

All freehold, copyhold and real estate he owns [not described] and all else he has to his two brothers Thomas and Francis Pepper. These two are appointed executors.

Christopher made a mark rather than sign.

Witnessed by:

Thomas Lee, Thomas Gibbons and  Green.

Two days later Christopher had his will witnessed again. This time he signed it, perhaps feeling stronger than at his first attempt. Witnesses above signed again.

Francis Pepper the brother MAY be the paper maker who had the lower mill at Marlow and died 1832.
