Robert Colbourne the elder, gentleman of Great Marlow. Proved 1839
Son Robert the old clock and all the cabinets then in his [the son's] parlour.
Rest of personal property equally between testator's children John, Robert, William, Sarah the wife of William Joy and Jane the wife of [?Harry Sale?] If any of the children die then their share of the property to be divided between his or her children . The son John's share to be invested by testator's son in law William Joy in government stock and the interest and profit of that to go to son John and after his death to John's children.
Son in law William Joy the executor.
Witnessed by W.L Ward of Great Marlow [This was William Lakin Ward a lawyer of the High Street] and Thomas Mathews grocer of Great Marlow. [Probably son of William Mathews grocer.See here]

Note the deceased Robert died at the home of his son in Marlow. He is described in his death notice in the Oxford Herald as formerly of Shipston on Stour (Warwickshire)
