Will of Richard Howard of Great Marlow

 Written 1711, proved 1714.

Glassman.

Says he weak of body but of sound mind.

Burial at discretion of his executor which is his loving wife Joan. She gets for life their dwelling house and all his goods and chattels, money, debts and personal estate.

Son Richard testator's best woollen wearing apparel. Rest of apparel to son John.

After his debts and funeral expenses paid, and after wife Joan's decease the following legacies to be paid:

Son Richard three score pounds.

Son John testator's dwelling house and the pastures belonging to it and all household goods.

Son Samuel three score pounds.

Son in law Thomas Carter £5.

Sister Mary Porter £5.

Grandson Richard, son of Richard £4.

Witnessed by Mary Hoar (made her mark), Elizabeth Carter junior (made her mark), Thomas Hobbs.
