Warne Grave, Marlow

Grave stone is in Marlow Cemetery

Francis was the farmer at Hook's Farm on the outskirts of Marlow and died suddenly. He was originally of Cornwall. Him and Margery had 10 living children at the time of his death. One of them Anne Muriel was the victim of highway robbery and attempted assault when cycling home on her bike in 1908. Her father and brother (also called Francis) came to her aid (South Bucks Standard June 19th 1908). Another daughter Margery was a pupil at the private Lyle House School.
