Will Summary Peter Shanin [Shavin] of Great Marlow 1667

 Transcription by me from a will ordered from the National Archives, Kew.

PETER SHANIN, GOLDSMITH OF GREAT MARLOW. WILL PROVED 1667. Note: in other records Peter and his family members appear as SHAVIN.


Weak in body but of good and perfect memory.

Commends soul to God.

Kinswomen Mary... and her daughter Mary 1 shilling each.

Loving wife Elizabeth the executor. She gets all of the below: 

Tenement or dwelling house in Temple... Parish of St Clements in the Strand Middlesex [London] in occupation of upholsterer Christopher ?Prosse.

Tenement East side of Great Marlow High Street then divided into several tenements in occupations of Richard Fulton, ....Barnes and ....Barnes, widow.

House in Henley Street where testator then lived which was recently bought of Thomas Braughing of Great Marlow plus all the outhouses, buildings, barns, stables, yard, orchards, gardens and appurtenances that go with it.

All rights, claims and title to a tenement in Knightsbridge, Middlesex [London].

All other personal property, bonds, bills, debts, monies, household goods and utensils, plate.
