Will Summary John Webb of Great Marlow 1722

 I transcribed this PCC will which is held at the National Archives, Kew and then summarized it here.

JOHN WEBB, MALTSTER WILL PROVED 1722.

Says he in good health praise to God. Asks to be decently buried.

Commends soul to God.

Dear and loving wife gets messuage, farm lands, premises with all appurtenances at Wheeler End in the occupation of Joshua Johnson for her life and after her death to his three nephews= Richard and John Webb sons of testator's brother Richard, and John Webb son of testator's brother Giles.

Wife also all household goods, plate, linen and furniture in their dwelling house for life then to testator's brothers Richard and Giles equally.

Wife £10 annuity.

£50 each to nephews and nieces: Richard, John, Sarah and Mary children of testator's brother Richard's. Also £50 each to Mary, Hester and Elizabeth children of testator's brother Giles.

£20 each to nephews and niece: Andrew, Elizabeth and Richard Quarterman children of testator's sister Elizabeth Quarterman.

Rest of goods and chattels after all debts and legacies paid to brothers Richard and Giles who are the executors.
