Mills Grave, Great Marlow



 William Mills, carpenter of this town, d. 20th November 1813 age 37. 

"Feign would I wish you all that pass this way/Read these lines and some attention pay/Snatch'd from sev'n children and a loving wife/who not so long since like you was stout and strong/He is now so that you must be ere long/Were born in sin and know twas Christ alone/that died for us and made his sins our own/Beware the scourge of Heavens avenging rod/This instant go! Prepare to meet thy GOD."

ALSO - To the memory also of 3 children of the above William Mills and Letitia his wife:

Richard d. Mar 13th 1805 age 5 months

Martha - d. Jul 26 1811 age 15 months

Joseph - d. Aug 11 1811 age ?
